From February 21st to 23rd, Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited the production lines of Weichai and China National Heavy Duty Truck Group to conduct on-site research on the resumption of work and production and safety production after the Spring Festival. He also extended New Year greetings and sincere wishes to the employees who remained at their posts. He emphasized the need to adopt a proactive and responsible attitude, going all out to boost production, ensure delivery, and improve efficiency to achieve a "good start" in the first quarter and lay a solid foundation for high-quality development in 2026.

On February 21st, the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, Wang Zhijian's first stop was the Weichai High-end Heavy-duty Engine Intelligent Manufacturing Plant. He focused on understanding the organization of market orders, process quality control, and the construction of lean manufacturing facilities, and had cordial exchanges with skilled technicians and frontline employees. He stated that everyone's dedication and commitment to ensuring order delivery during the Spring Festival demonstrated a high degree of responsibility and professionalism. He hoped that everyone would continue to maintain their enthusiasm, promote the spirit of craftsmanship, and ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality products to customers. Meanwhile, taking the opportunity of being selected for the national leading-level smart factory cultivation list, we should promote the engine factory based on the digital and intelligent lean model to become a global benchmark.

Subsequently, Wang Zhijian visited Weichai Heavy Machinery's high-end power energy equipment manufacturing base, foundry, and large-bore engine plant for research. Currently, global demand for power energy from data centers is growing rapidly, and Weichai's power generation products have ample market orders, indicating broad future development prospects. He pointed out that Weichai should seize market opportunities, accelerate the construction of new large-bore high-end engine projects, improve production capacity and technological level, fully meet global market demand, and further expand and strengthen its strategic emerging power energy sector.

On February 23, Wang Zhijian visited China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) Jinan Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Company to gain an in-depth understanding of global market orders, the progress of new energy production line transformation, and supply chain logistics support. He also inspected the production of new heavy-duty truck products on-site. He emphasized that CNHTC should continue to increase investment in intelligent manufacturing, improve product technology, quality, cost, and service competitiveness according to world-class standards, strive to seize the initiative in the transformation of commercial vehicles into new energy vehicles, and build an internationally renowned brand. Meanwhile, we must attach great importance to safe production during periods of high output, strengthen employee service and support, and solidify the safety foundation for high-quality development.
