Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a New Years greeting event connecting with overseas markets.
On 14 February, the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth lunar month, Shandong Heavy Industry Group held a video conference to extend New Year greetings to its overseas workforce. Party Secretary and Chairman Wang Zhijian led the Group's leadership team in connecting with employees abroad, conveying heartfelt regards and festive blessings to staff steadfastly working on the front lines of international markets and those stationed at overseas subsidiaries.
Wang Zhijian noted that throughout 2025, SHIG's overseas workforce had demonstrated remarkable dedication and pioneering spirit at the front lines, propelling the Group's global expansion to new heights. Both product exports and overseas industrial revenue surpassed the RMB 100 billion mark, with export revenue reaching RMB 100.7 billion – a 9.3% year-on-year increase that marked the first time this threshold was breached. This achievement stands as a shining example of China's manufacturing sector expanding globally. During the festive season, our overseas personnel remained steadfastly at their posts, exemplifying the Shandong Heavy Industry workforce's ethos of tenacious dedication and relentless pursuit of dreams. In the new year, it is hoped that all overseas personnel will continue to uphold the spirit of relentless effort, staying at the forefront and striving for excellence, challenging higher goals and achieving even better results. Wang Zhijian urged everyone to remain vigilant about personal safety and health, and called on the entire Group to provide thoughtful and caring support for overseas employees, ensuring they feel the warmth and strength of home.
Overseas staff pledged to channel the company's care and concern into renewed drive, committing themselves to their work with heightened vigour. They vowed to steadfastly propel the Group's product exports and overseas industrial development to new heights, thereby contributing to Shandong Heavy Industry's ambition to build a world-class enterprise.
Following the event, Wang Zhijian made a special visit to the Weichai Science and Technology Research Institute to meet with frontline R&D personnel.
